That’s the question everybody wants to know. Around 5am this morning 50 cents multi-million dollar home where his baby mother Shaniqua and their ten year old son was staying caught on fire. And eye witness said that the fire was huge and literally burned the house to the ground. And according to fire officials it took people from five departments to get the fire under control. This has now led to an investigation of the cause of fire from the fire department.
Dix Hills Fire Department Chief Larry Feld told MTV News “the blaze was “definitely suspicious.” When pressed for details, Feld said, “I would say there is a strong possibility that it is suspicious because of the rapid movement of the fire, the volume of the fire that we had upon arrival, and the intensity. When I arrived — and I got there early — the whole first floor and second floor was engulfed, and the home was totally gutted.” “Let’s put it this way,” he continued, “this wasn’t your ordinary fire.”
I’m glad to report no one was injured however, you can’t help but wonder if this fire had anything to do with 50 and his baby mother recent beef. Last month 50 tried to evict Shaniqua his baby mama and son from the home and wanted her to pay $4,500.00 in rent. They went to court and Shanique ended up loosing out, the courts granted 50 the right to evict her. Then earlier this week Shaniqua was trying to sue 50 for 50 million dollar (damn) and at that hearing she showed up two guys that tried to start an altercation with 50 so they could sue them as well. 50 didn’t feed into it so no altercation took place. That’s not it Shaniqua then attempted to call the police on 50 when he tried to pick his son up from a basket ball game. Lawd have mercy baby mama drama x2.
This is a sad situation for everyone involved especially their 10 year old son. I can’t really speak on this situation because I don’t all the details, but at the end of the day, they should be able to come to some type of agreement as adults and work together to raise their son without all the drama. I don’t know if 50 or his baby mama but what I can say is that I have a brother and he has kids, and I can’t stand when a woman tries to keep a man away from kids because of bitter feeling she feels towards him.
I hope 50 cent and his baby mother can work this out, if not for there sake at least for there sons sake. And lord knows I hope this fire wasn’t from all this foolishness going on between the two of them.

I think It’s so childish & selfish for ANY parent mother or father to put their child/children in or between ANY adult based issue!!!!!! If there is an issue to be dealt with concerning the child/children it should be discussed among each other privately. Then handled maturely. If that’s impossible there needs to be a mediator, legal or non. SECOND I have 3 sons. One 17 with high school boyfriend. Other two 12 & 9 with Ex husband. NO MATTER HOW MANY PROBLEMS or what the problem is about I NEVER kept my boys from their dads!!!!!!!!!! EVER!
