I see Bow Wow has a lot going for him these days, a new album “Pedigree” getting ready to drop, a new movie he’s starring in alone with Forest Whitaker called “Hurricane”, as well as a role in the 5th season of HBO’s The Entourage. He recently did a photo shoot and interview with King Magazine and I must say Bow’s swagger game was in full force. From looking at the pics I see why super head aka Karrine Steffans is making that move to ATL. I don’t know if you heard but the latest rumor on the net is that the two definitely has something going on. Karrine was in Atlanta a couple weeks ago celebrating her birthday and she did a interview on Hot 107.9 where she mentioned Bow Wows name a couple times and kept talking about the new generation. Although she didn’t come right out and say it yall know super head was dropping hella hints. Not to mention she was caught coming out of his home a couple times in Sugarloaf. Lawd have mercy please somebody tell Karrine not to write about Bow in her next book . And last but not least before yall check out Bow’s interview with King, you remember last week I posted youtube video’s of Bow Wow going back and forth with Game about who will beat in a game of Madden. Well Bow Wow may be the King in King Magazine right not but he sure isn’t the King of Madden, Game whuped that ass.
Here are a few experts from Bow Wow’s interview with King Magazine
Does your rapper style bleed into your silver-screen style?
They’re totally different—day and night. When I’m going on the red carpet, my stylist will lay out 40 outfits for me, only the high-end stuff. But on a daily basis, I’m in a white Polo V-neck tee, some True Religion jeans and some Chucks or Jordan gear. I’m always dressed down but dressed right at the same time.
You’ve grown up in the public eye. Are there any style missteps that you regret?
There’s nothing that I regret. But I did wear these beads in my hair for the “Let Me Hold You” video. I look back, and I will never do that again [laughs].
Good call. What else about your style has changed since you dropped the “Lil”?
Oh, man! It’s totally different. It’s crazy. I would have never thought I’d be wearing clothes like I’m wearing now. I remember I used to clown [Jermaine Dupri] all the time when he used to dress up, like, “What do you have on? I would never wear that!” But as you get older, those baggy clothes turn into nice, fresh-looking gear.
Has it only been age that’s contributed to your mature fashion sense?
[Through hip-hop] I’m able to travel, go to different cities and pick up different styles. That’s how I contribute to how I dress.
Do you draw style inspiration from any other entertainers?
I think Kanye is dope with it. He’s had some crazy fashion moments. And Puff is definitely like a fashion guru. He does his thing. But all in all, I focus on me, not what the next man is doing.
Do you play favorites with certain labels?
I love Louis [Vuitton]; I’m a Louis fanatic. Everything—backpacks, shades, clothes, shoes… watch is G-Shock. And Polo white tees are all day, every day. That’s tour, that’s TV, that’s everything. Everything else flows in pocket.
