This past week in Atlanta a lot of celebrities stepped up to make families in the ATL would not go without a thanksgiving dinner. Last weekend rapper Ludacris gave out free Turkeys Saturday and Sunday at different events to families in need, and this past Tuesday rapper/ producer Polow tha Don and friends held their event and gave away 10 thousand turkeys, had moon walks and ponies for the kids, as well as qualified one lucky winner to have their rent paid for a year…. Thanksgiving is all about giving, spending time with family and friends, and eating a lot of food and these celebrities made sure food was not an issue. DJ Greg Street, Keri Hilson, and Rich boy were a few celebrities to come out and support this event.

Speaking of giving back one of my favorite rappers TI did it at big yesterday with Hosea feed the Hungry at V 103 radio station in ATL… Hosea is an organization that raises money to feed the hungry and provide assistant to people in need. I didn’t hear the entire show but from what I heard TI was definitely doing his part to make sure Hosea had everything they needed to make the organization was a success. TI made some personal calls on air and reached out to some of his celebrity friends to see if they will help contribute to the cause. Lyfe Jennings and Sean Garrett were two of the people TI reached out to and both had no problems reaching in their pocket giving large donations.

I didn’t catch her name but one over Hosea said that T.I. calls them all year around to see if it’s anything they need for the organization. She stated this isnt just a Thanksgiving thing for him, the rapper stays in contact with her throughout the year. Now that’s what’s up and that is why TIP is one of my favorite rappers.
