63 year old Larry Platt from Atlanta, GA ( wait a minute let me get this right), I mean “General” Larry Platt had twitter and FB off the chain last night after performing his song “ Pants On The Ground” on American Idol.
“Pants on the ground, pants on the ground looking like a fool wit yo pants on the ground. Wit the gold in ya mouth hat turned sideways, pants hit the ground, call yourself a cool cat looking like a fool walking downtown wit yo pants on the ground get it up.”
Of course by him being over the age limit to compete it’s clear the judges only let him through because they knew he would be entertaining to the show. Platt has turned into an overnight sensation and even became a trending topic on twitter last night…
According to the AJC General Larry Platt was inspired to do the song after he saw a guy walking downtown Atlanta with his pants below his waste. Platt told the AJC that the guy was being disrespectful by showing his underwear so he wanted to embarrass him. The song came to Platt instantly and he started chanting the chorus “Pants on the ground” to the guy who then rolled his eyes & pulled his pants up.
No he did not do the Michael Jackson turn and break out in the splits at the end of his performance OMG still ROTFLMAO!!!!!
