Singer/Songwriter/Producer Alicia Keys recently introduced the world to her alter ego DJ AK-47 during a party in NYC with her husband Swizz Beatz.

“I learned how to DJ at 9:45 tonight,” stated DJ AK-47, who has already set up a twitter page as well as have plans on releasing a mix-tape sometime next year.

Last night R&B singer Alicia Keys was spotted at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas rocking it out for the IHEARTRADIO Music festival.

The Grammy Award winning songbird, dressed in all black everything hit the stage & performed a few of her hit songs including “Empire State of Mind with Jay Z.

She also debuted a new track off her upcoming album titled ‘A Place Of My Own”, she told the sold out crowd:

“I’ve been in the studio working on some new music and I thought tonight would be the perfect night to play something new for you,”

R&B singer Alicia Keys was spotted in Miami this past weekend hanging out at the pool with her adorable 9 month old son baby Egypt.

The Grammy award winning singer will celebrate her one year wedding anniversary to husband super producer Swizz Beatz on July 31st and she recently opened up to People.com about married life & her fairy tale wedding.

On her marriage to Swizz Beatz:

“It’s so fly, there’s something great about feeling at peace and ease with your partner and knowing you understand each other. I really enjoy that friendship. There are so many similarities between us, it’s just mind-blowing, “It’s really cool to have met my equal.”

On her fairy-tale wedding day:

“When I walked down [the aisle] and saw him, I could barely hold myself together, It was so beautiful just about he and I and our love. The wedding was one of the best days of my life.”

Awww I can’t wait to have my fairy-tale wedding, and yes I do believe in fairy tales and so WHAT…. #Dontjudgeme lol!!!!

Ten years after breaking into the game, R&B singer/songwriter Alicia Keys reflects on one of her biggest hits “If I Ain’t Got You” off her first album “Songs In A Minor”, saying she was inspired to write the track after the sudden death of the late R&B singer Aaliyah.

“If I Ain’t Got You’ was also such an incredible song for me, it just means so much. Certain songs change everything. This was one of them. The song idea came together right after Aaliyah passed away. It was such a sad time and no one wanted to believe it. It just made everything crystal clear to me—what matters, and what doesn’t.”

“I remember writing the beginnings of it on a flight somewhere and then finished it in the hotel once I got where we were going. It came quickly and I was so moved to write it and it doesn’t matter how many times I sing it, I love it with the same intensity as when I first wrote and recorded it.”

To celebrate her anniversary Alicia will release the 10th anniversary edition of her Grammy-winning album “Songs In A Minor on June 28, she will also be performing at this year’s BET Awards

In the new issue of Essence magazine Alicia Keys finally opens up about regarding the rumor about her being a home wrecker & breaking Swizz Beatz’ former marriage with his ex wife Mashonda.

On her relationship with Swizz Beatz:

“Our relationship definitely grew from a friendship. It’s really beautiful to be understood without a lot of excess talking. With Kasseem, I can be my true self, and he can be his true self and we shine equally. When we are in the same room, nobody falls in the shadow.”

On the rumors that she broke up Swizz’s & his ex-wife Mashonda’s marriage:

“We didn’t start seeing each other until months after they had separated. I was aware of all the false things that were being said about me, it definitely hurt. I was sure that if I engaged, it would become back-and-forth like some sick entertainment, which goes against everything I believe and would have made things worse. But I know the truth will shine through.“

Alicia’s Bff Erika Rose also joined the conversation to comment on the situation:

“Alicia doesn’t get involved in tit for tat,” she says. “In fact, sometimes it’s kind of annoying. Like in those moments when I want to engage in a little girl chat, say about someone’s outfit, Alicia will never join in. I’m like, ‘Can you just have fun with me for two seconds and talk about how ridiculous she looks?’ She doesn’t participate. That’s just who she is.”

Alicia Keys, her hubby hubby Swizz Beatz, their baby Egypt Daoude Dean, & Swizz oldest son Prince Nasir Dean were all spotted spending some family time walking the streets of New York City yesterday.

And speaking of the happy Dean family, Swizz is currently working on Mary J. Blige’s upcoming album “My Life II, The Journey Continues” & Alicia is getting ready to direct her first movie about breast cancer for Lifetime.

Last night Alicia Keys stepped out for the first time since giving birth to her newborn son Egypt to celebrate her hubby’s Swizz Beatz spread in GQ magazine.

The party was party was sponsored by Hennessy Black & took place at the Kastel Lounge in the Trump Soho Hotel in New York City.

Swizz was excited to have his wife on on his arms he took the mic & shout out his “beautiful wife”. “I can’t believe I got her out of the house“.

According to my sources Swizz & Alicia took over the dance floor and partied the night away.
