It looks like Cassie is back to pursuing her music career with a new track titled “Radio” featuring Fabolous.

Diddy’s side chick is singing about a guy who broke her heart & how she wish she would have listened to the songs on her radio from artist like Mary J. Blige, TLC, Xscape who warned her to leave guys like him alone.

I guess Cassie is out to prove to the world that she’s more than just a pretty face who can take a good picture….

In a recent interview with Nylon Magazine, Cassie dished the dirt on her upcoming album stating she was aiming for an Aaliyah sound on her new project.

Tell us about your new album.

It’s a cool blend of pop, hip-hop, and ska. It’s urban Gwen Stefani meets Aaliyah. I hate referencing people but if you had to compare, that’s it.

Ok you know what I’m about to stop right here, first off let me just say Cassie should never, ever compare or even use her name in same sentence as the late great Aaliyah, point, blank, period!!!!!!!!

Don’t get me wrong I’m not trying to throw shade but Aaliyah was a great performer as well as a great singer & Cassie is only known for rocking the hell out of a shaved head, taking a great photo, & being Diddy’s side-chick…

I’m just saying Cassie has never been known for her vocal ability, again not trying to throw shade.

Cassie was spotted leaving BOA steakhouse with ~~her sugar daddy~~ Diddy the other night in West Hollywood.

Cassie was wearing a pair of $1,295 leather lace-up cuff boots from designer Giuseppe Zanotti.

The heel on this shoe is 4 1/2 inches off of the ground which in my opinion is just right.

Not feeling Cassie’s outfit but those boots are NICE I like lol!!!!

Did Nicki Minaj Take Cassie Away From Diddy

Last night at Hot 97′s New York Summer Jamz Nicki Minaj and Cassie was spotted walking around backstage holding hands and according to the homie Blogxilla who was on location:

“Cassie roamed around backstage waiting for her “friend” Nicki Minaj to get off stage. Once Nicki Minaj left the stage Cassie was there to greet Nicki for each of her numerous performances. As fans mobbed Nicki and the paparazzi swarmed Nicki Minaj, Cassie played the back, until Nicki Minaj would eventually grab her hand and walk off together into the restricted area.”

Now Nicki Minaj did mention in one of her rhymes that she was plotting on how she can take Cassie away from Diddy, does this mean her mission was accomplished?????

Did she really take Cassie away Diddy or was this a distraction so that the paparazzi wouldn’t ask her about the Lil Kim drama????

Ok Cassie made a statement an even got a lot of attention from shaving half her head bald, but now its time for her to glue some tracks, get a sew-in, wig or something to cover up that half head becasue she look ridiculous. The singer was spotted going to the gym this weekend with her hair pulled back in a ponytail.

Speaking of weave talk show mogul Oprah Winfrey wants everyone to stop asking her about her weave. Oprah revealed pictures of herself to prove to the world her locks are natural. If she say so LOL….

Diddy say’s Cassie’s the next Britney Spears

Diddy recently sat down with Billboard and said R&B singer Cassie is currently working hard on second album.Diddy on Cassie’s new single:“That’s going to really, really catch people off guard”

There’s a huge cry out there for a younger Britney Spears, a younger Janet Jackson. Those two artists have paved the way. She has a single out called “Official Girl” and Danja produced it and it’s a smash. On developing Cassie:“I just don’t think she was ready (the first album) Diddy says. I think that we threw her into the spotlight without artist development. We pulled out, we took our time, we developed her for like a year-and –a-half. People are just going to see her there and be like, Wow, she’s really cocooned into a butterfly.” (Source)
