According to Nielsen SoundSan Kelis “Flesh Tone” came in at the No. 48 spot with 7,900 albums sold.

Wow this has to be the biggest epic fail of the year, an artist of her status only selling 7,000 records in one week????? Ohh well look on the brighter side as least she has her child support & alimony checks from baby daddy Nas to keep the bills paid!!!

Kelis recently sat down for an interview with the Associate Press and when they asked her questions about her divorce settlement from ex hubby Nas she let them know she will never talk bad about her baby daddy.

But she will continue to take his money & get that child support check every month LMBO!!!!!!!

AP: It was reported you got a hefty divorce settlement from your ex-husband.

Kelis: No matter what it is that I say, or don’t say, people are going to make up their opinion. I have not said anything about my personal life at all. … At the end of the day it has no bearing on me or my kid. Maybe you want to think about that. You are blogging about my life that I am actually living.

AP: Knight is going to grow up with two public figures as parents. What do you want people to know about Nas as a father?

Kelis: My kid is the center of my world. I don’t leave him ever. I take him with me everywhere. I was married. It didn’t work out. The most amazing thing came out of it. I am good with that. … He (Knight) will never read anywhere that I said anything negative about his father. It doesn’t matter whether it’s true or not. Because at the end of the day he needs to know he did come from love.

Kelis was spotted hanging out in Hollywood yesterday with 11 month old baby Knight. And according to TMZ Nas has fallen behind on the mortgage for Kelis & baby Knight’s home and may have to sell it soon.

TMZ obtained legal docs in which Nas concedes he owes Kelis a skosh less than $300,000 in spousal support. But it seems the most pressing problem is the mortgage for the home Kelis is living in — Nas is behind $52,989.22.

So Nas’ lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, filed a payment plan with the court, in which the rapper agrees to pay $17,500 up front, and then pretty much double the $7,800 mortgage payment each month to catch up.

It’s pretty amazing — Kelis’ lawyer, disso queen Laura Wasser, has claimed Nas raked in $244,826 a month.

According to the docs, the plan is to sell the home stat

Wait a minute so you mean to tell me in addition to paying Kelis over 50 stacks month for her spousal & child support he has to pay the mortgage on her house too????

Dayuuuuuum I hate to say it but it would have been cheaper to keep her because Kelis is trying to take ALL of Nas coins.

In a recent interview with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, Kelis briefly talked about her relationship with ex-husband Nas, and also admitted to being in a new relationship.

It looks like Nas finally decided to cover up the half naked tattoo of his ex wife Kelis on his forearm to seal the deal on their messy divorce. Personally I thought he would have did this a long time ago but I guess better late than never.

According to TMZ as of Monday Nas & Kelis are officially divorced…. Nas has to immediately pay Kelis $47.249.42 in back child support and $40, 454.00 in back spousal support.

The judge also ordered him to pay an additional $10,000 a month until he pays off the $300,000 he owes Kelis. Not only that Nas is responsible for paying 90% of Kelis’s legal fees in the amount of $155, 787.28.

Daaaayummmm that’s whole lot of money, but then again it’s better than that $750 million Tiger Woods wife is asking for so maybe Nas got a break!!!!!!

Nas recently revealed in an interview with Vibe.com, that it has been difficult seeing his son “Baby Knight” after seperating with his ex Kelis:

I hate to hear about women keeping their children away from their fathers. Expecially if the father is being a father & trying to be apart of that child’s life.

Let that man be a father to his child. Childeren should never be caught in the middle of a situation their parents are going though. I’m just saying if Kelis is keeping baby Knight away from Nas that’s just wrong!!!!!!!

It looks like rapper Nas decided to take matters into his own hands and play broke to get out of paying Kelis over $50,000 a month in child support.

Nas claims he can’t afford to pay Kelis the child and spousal support ordered by the court.

a court ordered Nas last month to pay more than $87,000 in back spousal and child support. The judge also ordered Nas to pay Kelis $10,000 a month in spousal support to stay current. It’s unclear how much Nas is required to pay in monthly child support.

Nas says in the new legal docs obtained by TMZ … the judge predicated the order on Nas making $152,031 a month, but the rapper says he makes “substantially less than that amount.”

Kelis wants to be legally divorced from Nas so bad and so quick she has filed papers with the court asking them to make the split official ASAP.

According to documents filed last week, Kelis said in a declaration, ” it would be in the best interest of both of us if our marital status is terminated as soon as possible.”

Because she fears that the legal proceedings could take years to figure out, Kelis has requested that the judge immediately terminate their marriage and wait until a later time to resolve “all other issues.”

As for the odds that the two will rekindle their romance Kelis stated, “I believe there is no possibility of reconciliation with [Nas].”

I told yall Kelis wasn’t playing with Nas when it came down to her money……

According to documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Nas had to immediately fork over $47,249.42 in back child support and $40,454 in back spousal support.

The judge also ordered Nas to pay $10,000/month in spousal support until he pays off the $299,015.50 he owes Kelis.

Nas also has to pay 90% of Kelis’ legal fees in the amount of $155,787.28.

Lastly, Nas has to pay $48,549.83 to cover Kelis’ accounting expenses.

The lesson, as always — when Laura Wasser reps your ex, settle as quickly as possible. Nas just learned that the hard way
