Yesterday R&B singer Monica stopped by the Wendy Williams show.

During the interview Monica opened about the pregnancy rumors, how she met her hubby Shannon Brown as well as her thoughts on the NBA lockout…

On how she met her husband Shannon Brown:

“I’m very spiritual and I believe that sometimes we have a plan for ourselves and God has another. So, I had decided that it would just be me and my kids. I think sometimes I see a little bit too much, because of what I do. I see what the men do when the wives aren’t home, so I was like I’ll just be alone. Then I went to work one day, we were shooting the ‘Love All Over Me’ video. And I go into the video shoot and he walks in. And, of course, he’s so easy on the eyes. So we met at the video and I always say we had one long date that’s gone on for two years now. We’ve been married one year, as of last week.”

On her secret marriage:

“We did our marriage Justice of the Peace style. It’s wasn’t so much that it was a secret, it’s just that we didn’t announce it, which is like the new way for everything. [Our family and friends] all knew; they helped us prepare. We had to bring the Justice of the Peace to our house…[Later] on July 9th we did the actual ceremony.”

On the NBA lockout being over:

“I’m secretly sad because we got to spend so much time together. Now it’s back to business, so I’m kind of sad too.”

On the pregnancy rumors:

“No I’m not [pregnant]. We would love to be, and we practice regularly. So it’s not a big deal.”

Monica just recently delivered some bad news to her fans when she took to her twitter to announce her upcoming album “New Life” won’t be dropping in November or December as she originally planned. Monica believes in order to give her fans the music they deserve she feels she need to move the release date to next year.

“I wanna thank u for your love, dedication & support.. RCA & I are restructuring the entire plan for the album & the entire movement.”

“I refuse to not give the music that those of you who have supported me deserve, creative things take time because they cant be planned”

“All is STILL IN MOTION…I Love u guys.. NEW LIFE coming soon, pls continue to request Until It’s Gone at radio & video outlets..Be Blessed”

And to be quite honest I think that was a wise decision on Monica’s part. I like the two tracks she recently released “Anything To Find You” & “Until Your Gone” however I don’t think they were strong enough to be her first two singles.

The rumor mill was in full effect a few months ago after Monica tied the knot to NBA baller Shannon Brown and her bff Keyshia Cole wasn’t a part of the bridal party nor did she attend the star studded wedding.

Not to mention a week later Keyshia tweeted that she would be having her own Big wedding which took place this past weekend…..

Monica didn’t attend Keyshia’s big fairy tale wedding however she did send her well wishes via twitter:

So this should put the rumors to rest about Keyshia & Monica no longer being friends.

As you can see everything is still good in the hood with Key & Moe lol….

Check out the brand new video from R&B singer Monica for her new single ‘Anything (To Find You)’ featuring Rick Ross.

The track was produced my Missy Elliot and it kind of reminds me of Mary J Blige 1995 hit single “Your All I Need” featuring Method Man….

The song also featured Lil Kim however Monica was force to remove her from the song because it included a sample of the Late Notorious BIG & his mother rejected her feature after she had final approval of the track….

R&B singers Monica new single “Anything (To Find You)” featuring Lil’ Kim, Missy Elliott and Rick Ross leaked on the internet last week. {Click here to listen to the track}

The song samples the late Notorious B.I.G’s “Who Shot Ya” and when the single made it’s debuted on the chart this past week Lil Kim’s verse was omitted from the track.

Yesterday after the news hit twitter, Lil Kim’s fans began to tweet their anger at Monica who is currently on her honeymoon, however she later tweeted back saying:

“You are directing your anger in the wrong place & I am far too deep in the game to play games. These are facts. Still fighting for Kim to be on it….”

According to Monica the decision to take Lil Kim’s verse off the track was Biggie’s mom, Voletta Wallace,( who has past issues with the pint size rapper) had the final say so & decided to blocked her appearance on the record.

“I am just finding out what has happened to my single and myself & Missy are beyond hurt that @LilKim was removed. She’s our friend, a legend & @LilKim will get the respect she deserves at all cost. The clearance was revoked & I’m fighting to get it reinstated by the Biggie Estate. We respect all parties involved & were gonna do WHATEVER to keep the song as is because @lilKim the bizness on the record… I am as thorough as they come and I LOVE @LilKim bottom line is Ms Wallace has the final say and she said No. If we put it out we get SUED”

And this right here is why I have so much respect for Monica because of her realness & honesty. Mot to mention the loyalty & dedication she gives to her friends & family.

At the end of the day Monica could done what everybody else is currently doing and that is went out & recruited Nicki Minaj for the track however she decided to keep it real & give her girl a chance.

And that’s what you call keeping it real, being loyal, & having your friends back no matter what….

Shout out to Monica…..

The Insider’s Kevin Frazier was on location for R&B singer’s Monica and her Los Angeles Lakers husband Shannon Brown’s star-studded wedding where they said “I do” for the second time.

Congratulations goes out to NBA star Shannon Brown and R&B singer Monica, who jumped the brom for the second time this past weekend in L.A.

Monica & Shannon previously married in a private ceremony inside their California home last November, however this time around the happy couple exchanged vows in front of over 200 of their closest friends & family members.

Celebrity guest such as KANDI, Jermaine Dupri, Ashanti, Nelly, Cee-lo Green, Nene Leakes and Toya & Memphitz. Ciara, Trina, Kobe Bryant, Lala Anthony and more was asked to wear various shades of blue for the purple and blue themed ceremony and reception.

Monica’s mom Marylin Best along with her two sons,Rodney Jr. and Romelo, as well as Shannon’s son arrived to ceremony by horse and carriage.

During the reception guest dined on a 3 course meal & towards the end of the night Monica & Shannon decided to serve their guest Fatburgers after they had danced the night away as a last meal so they wouldn’t go hungry.

“You had a salad with gigantic shrimp. You had a choice between ribs and swordfish. Then they had candy set up with Shannon and Mo’s faces on the candy, You could mix and match candy in beautiful bags with the words: ‘Sweet dreams from the two of us.”

“It was a good wedding the best I’ve ever been to! Everybody mingled. Kobe and Toni Braxton danced down the Soul Train line! ‘Melo did the moonwalk at the reception. It was really nice, it was a good celebration of God and Love. My source said Shannon and Monica’s first dance was to a Charlie Wilson song. The decorations were off the chain, I can’t even describe them! The wedding planner [Mindy Weiss] did an excellent job! Ciara danced the night away at the reception. She was the life of the party!”

Monica & Shannon met on set of her music video for ‘Love All Over Me”, and after 5 months of dating they became engaged, and a month after the engagement, they were married living happily ever after…..

R&B singer & Basketball Wife Monica Brown was spotted out & about last night with her husband Shannon Brown at BOA restaurant in LA, celebrating their upcoming nuptials with a few of their close friends and family.

Celebrities such as Ciara, Trina, Ludacris along with his girlfriend Eudoxie were just a few of the guests that came out to support the happy couple as they prepared for their big day which is going down today.

I love Monica to death she’s actually one of my favorite singers however, I am not feeling that dress on her not one bit. Maybe if it was cut different like if it was strapless & just a tad bit shorter it might look better. But something about that dress is not flattering on her at all….

On another note I think Monica & Shannon are such a cute couple and I’m glad to see they always look so happy together.
