58 year old Dr. Conrad Murray was found GUILTY of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.

The jurors reached a verdict earlier today in a LA courthouse after a 6-week trial, were prosecutors proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Dr. Murray was responsible for MJ’s death.

Dr. Murray will face up to 4 years behind bars, however he will not go to prison because of a new law, more than likely he will serve his time in L.A. County Jail.

After the verdict was announced Dr Murray was immediately taken into custody where he will remain until his sentencing date because the judge felt he was a threat to society.

My question is, is this really justice being that Dr. Murray was given Michael Jackson what he wanted??????????

I’m just saying it was stated that Micheal Jackson has been doing drugs for a very long time so if he didn’t get it from Dr. Murray he would have got it from someone else…

Again I’m just asking a question that’s all……….

Earlier today Apple announced that it’s co-founder & former CEO Steve Jobs, passed away at the age of 54 after fighting a long battle with cancer.

“We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today, “Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve”

Jobs, battled with cancer since 2004 and underwent a liver transplant in 2009 after taking a leave of absence from Apple. Jobs started Apple inside his garage with his high school friend back in 1976, and grew it into one of the most successful technology companies in the world turning it into a $351 billion dollar empire.

In addition to creating one of the largest companies ever he also motivated & inspired people across the world to live out their dreams.

Back in 2005, he delivered a powerful commencement speech at Stanford titled, “How To Live Before You Die” where he used his battle with cancer to send a powerful message encouraging the students to follow their heart & live their life as if there’s no tomorrow.

“Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important.”

“Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart. No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Rip Steve Jobs

Everybody who has a twitter knows the power of twitter. From the falsified deaths of Keith Sweat and Lil flip to the epic twitpic slander. Apparently the popular rumor this week was that Missy’s recent diagnosis with Graves’ disease has slowed her down.

On Friday, she released a statement on the disease, insisting that her ailments have not hurt her career as some news reports have stated.

Missy stated:

“There have been some inaccuracies reported in regards to my diagnosis with Graves’ Disease, so I wanted to clear things up…”

I’m glad to hear she’s okay, it’s been a while since we heard from Missy and it would be interesting to see the female MC dynamic with Missy back in the game.

Former President Bill Clinton was rushed to a New York hospital on Thursday afternoon (February 11) after suffering from unidentified chest pains, according to multiple reports.
Clinton received a procedure where two stents were placed in his coronary arteries, CNN reported. The surgery was described as routine, and having two items placed in his arteries was characterized as “not unusual,” a doctor told CNN.

CNN correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta said the speed in which the procedure took place, however, was enough to classify the incident as an emergency. Six years ago, Clinton suffered from serious heart trouble. In 2004, he underwent surgery for a quadruple coronary artery bypass; several months later, complications arose, which led Clinton to go back to the hospital for a minor follow-up procedure.

According to The New York Times, Clinton’s pains stemmed from a bypass graft previously operated on becoming obstructed. He was then rushed to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and is now recovering; his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, is on her way to meet her husband, CNN reported.

“President Clinton is in good spirits and will continue to focus on the work of his foundation and Haiti’s relief and long-term recovery efforts,” Douglas J. Band, his counselor, said in a statement released by the former president’s office, according to the Times.

Before Clinton rose the political ranks to become president, it was well documented that he has a weakness for fried foods, stemming from his Southern upbringing in Arkansas. Clinton was a frequent jogger and lost a noticeable amount of weight during and after his presidency. He also changed his diet after his surgery six years ago.

Clinton leads just as active a lifestyle following his presidency as he did when he occupied the White House. His Clinton Global Initiative has been instrumental in the fight against the global AIDS crisis.

The former president is also a U.N. special envoy to Haiti and recently visited the ravaged country following the earthquake that struck the tiny island. Clinton appeared at MTV’s “Hope for Haiti Now” and BET’s “SOS Save Ourselves: Help for Haiti” telethons, urging viewers to continue aiding the survivors of the 7.1-magnitude quake.”

Atlanta hip hop producer Demetrius Stewart aka Shawty Redd (known for producing hit tracks such as Young Jeezy’s Trap or Die, & Snoop Dogg Sensual Seduction) was arrested & charged with the murder of Damon Martin of Detroit after an altercation that took place on New Year’s Day at the producers home. From the information I gathered so far Shawty Redd shot killed Martin during the altercation because he felt his life was in danger and therefore drew his firearm in self defense shooting and killing the victim.

Shawty Red was arrested at his home and is now being held without bond at Henry County Jail in Georgia. The producer recently made his first appearance in court and Dennis Byron of the Hip Hop Enquirer and Raheem Shabazz of Rasha Entertainment attended the hearing and obtained the following footage below:

On Saturday morning Andre Young Jr., son of hip hop star producer Dr. Dre was found dead at his home in Woodland Hills Ca.  Andre Young Jr. mother went to check on him around 10am and he was unresponsive which prompted her to call 911.  The cause of death is unknown at this time.  My condolences go out to his mother, Dr. Dre and the rest of the family. 

According to law enforcements a 24 year old woman was found dead, Ingrid Rivera (the victim)  wearing only her undergarments on the roof of New York’s Spotlight club where Lil Kim held her birthday party.  The family of Rivera reported her missing the day after the party when she didn’t come home.  Lil Kim released a statement saying she knew nothing about the murder that took place, Kim also said she left the club without seeing a thing.  Media is so quick to put the attention on a celebrity instead of where it should be. My thing is where were the people she came to the club with?  I heard one story saying the victim was drunk and was put out of the club by security but my questions is who was she at the club with and why would they let her leave the club drunk by herself?    Ladies know who you going out with, if you go out with a bunch of girls make sure they’re going to have your back if some ish jump off.  If something happens somebody in the group should know what went down.   A lot of times I go to the club by myself but if I’m at the club by myself I’m not drinking, I’m valet parking, and I’m watching my surroundings extra hard.  And if I’m with my girls I know we have each others back I know if we come to the club together we’re leaving together, even if we’re driving separate cars well walk to one car and drive to the next.  It’s too many crazy people out here and too much crazy stuff happening in this world and if you go out in a group make sure the people you roll with is looking out for each other and will have ya back if something goes down.    I’m not trying to say that the people this girl came to the club with didn’t have her back, what I’m saying is as ladies we just need to watch our surroundings more and watch who we go out with.My condolences go out to the family of Ingrid Rivera.
